- How to open the SW equation interface
Method 1: Tools --> Equation
Method 2: Call up the hidden equation through the design tree (as shown below)
Equation interface: Create a global variable "Length" and set the value to 100.
- How to use global variables in equations
Situation 1: Create a global variable named "Width" based on the value, with the variable value specified as the current size 75.
Situation 2: Set a certain size to the value specified by a global variable parameter, for example, as shown below specified as "Length".
Situation 3: Link a certain size to a global variable.
Situation 4: Create a global variable "Diameter" and set the equation to "Width/2", and set the value of "D1@Sketch1" to "Diameter". Check auto-rebuild, modify the value, and you can change the model. (If not auto-rebuild, you can manually rebuild, the shortcut is Ctrl+B)
Situation 5: You can add global variables for "Measurements" and file properties. Displayed in the design tree.
Situation 6: Link to external files, modify the model size by modifying the external file.
